The R-Jet PRO DTF™ UVi-3D and UV61-3D are Resolute's specialist UV Direct-to-Film printers designed for printing onto hard, rigid, and non-textile substrates — a fundamentally different application from standard textile DTF.
What Makes UV DTF Different?
Standard DTF printing uses water-based inks printed onto film, with a powder adhesive and curing process before heat pressing onto textiles.
UV DTF uses UV-cured inks and a different film type. The finished transfer is applied directly to a hard substrate by hand — no heat press required, no powder, no curing oven. This makes it ideal for decorating items that cannot go through a heat press.

Suitable Substrates
The UV DTF range is designed for hard and rigid materials including:
- Glass (mugs, bottles, tumblers)
- Acrylic and Perspex
- Metal (tins, flasks, nameplates)
- Wood and MDF
- Ceramics
- Resin and hard plastics
UVi-3D vs. UV61-3D
Both models use UV-cured DTF technology. The models differ in print width, throughput, and configuration. For a current comparison and full specifications:
